Dr. Arthur Robinson announced on Monday that over 31,000 scientists are rejecting the notion that global warming is man-made, and that it is harmful to the environment. This comes in the wake of a seemingly endless campaign of media stories convincing Americans that Co2 - a live giving gas - is in fact deadly.

It is evident that 31,072 Americans with university degrees in science - including 9,021 PhDs, are not “a few.” Moreover, from the clear and strong petition statement that they have signed, it is evident that these 31,072 American scientists are not “skeptics.”

31,000 American scientists signed the following petition:

“We urge the United States government to reject the global warming agreement that was written in Kyoto, Japan in December, 1997, and any other similar proposals. The proposed limits on greenhouse gases would harm the environment, hinder the advance of science and technology, and damage the health and welfare of mankind.

There is no convincing scientific evidence that human release of carbon dioxide, methane, or other greenhouse gasses is causing or will, in the foreseeable future, cause catastrophic heating of the Earth’s atmosphere and disruption of the Earth’s climate. Moreover, there is substantial scientific evidence that increases in atmospheric carbon dioxide produce many beneficial effects upon the natural plant and animal environments of the Earth.”

Is it possible that the media is on the wrong side? We’ve been told that there is a scientific consensus, but we’ve also experienced, in the past, intensive campaigns to convince the public of things that later turned out to be untrue. There are two sides to every story, and the politically incorrect view is being deemed impossible before any real investigation is done by the media. Will the mainstream news media report this story, and if so, how will they report it?

Why is it that most young people today think that Co2 is a deadly gas, when in fact is an essential gas for photosynthesis in plants? Plant growth is increasing as Co2 increases. The increase in Co2 helps crops grow; far from being harmful we are now reaching healthy levels of Co2 for plants. The issue of “climate-change” has proven once again the power of propaganda, and repetition…can anyone say “project mockingbird?”
